A great location for seeing the sights of Barcelona. Modern, clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful. A short stroll from restaurant My Way which is highly recommended too. We didn’t do breakfast, there are so many nice places to stroll to.

Disappointing - cramped rooms and inaccurate claims on the hotel website.

Very disappointing. We booked directly with the company as they say on their website that there are 'exclusive advantages' from doing so. Big mistake. They state the hotel has spacious rooms. When we arrived (at 3 in the afternoon, so not a late check in) we were given Room 507. Room 507 is 10.5 square metres (3 x 3.5 metres). We complained and pointed out that the picture attached to their booking confirmation showed a room at least twice as large. Unlike other hotels they do not include a room size in their information - presumably deliberately. We were told they could not move us until the following day as there were no other rooms available. They did move us the following morning. Or rather they gave us the keys to another room and we moved ourselves. We were only staying for 2 days, so one of those 2 days was spent in a small cramped room, with a small, cramped and short (!) bed. Because we booked directly with the hotel there was no one apart from the hotel staff to ask why the claim to have spacious rooms was false and no general booking site to inform that the hotel was clearly misleading its customers. The staff on reception were very polite and apologetic, but there was no offer of compensation and no real explanation of how the hotel could claim something that was obviously a lie. On our 2nd day we asked - as it states on the website that we must - if we could arrange for a late checkout. We were told that this was subject to availability, and we could only find out the next morning. Since we didn't know if we could check out late or not we were unable to make proper plans to enjoy our last day in Barcelona. Their website promises a welcome gift. Maybe this was the 2 small bottles of water in the room as we were not offered anything else. On the plus side, the breakfast was excellent. Overall very disappointing - false promises on their website and staff who although very polite, were unable to help solve the problem. Just a lot of hassle for our short stay in a beautiful city.

This was our first visit to Barcelona. We had 3 days there prior to boarding our cruise on January 2, 2024. Loved this hotel. Great location in the middle of the Gothic quarter. Very walkable and interesting place, near Plaza Jaume, lots of restaurants and stores within walking distance. Hotel breakfast (12 euros) was a big buffet with all essentials (eggs, cereal, yogurt, several fruits and juices, coffee machine with many flavors) as well as several cheeses and cold cuts. Fast, efficient service. Our room was very convenient, good mattresses, many lighting options. USB outlets would have been nice. Solarium on the 5th floor is nice but it closes at 9, so we could not celebrate the New Year there. The room was cleaned and made up daily, which was a nice change from American motels which had cut back on such services since the pandemic. Highly recommend this hotel.

A Lovely Few Nights In Fabulous Barcelona

Just returned from 4 fabulous nights in Barcelona. We loved this hotel. Location couldn’t be any better….right in the middle of the gothic quarter which is atmospheric and beautiful. Our room looked out onto one of the busy streets which is buzzing at night with a great choice of places to eat and drink just about on the doorstep. It does mean it’s noisy at night…..pretty much all night. But with the windows shut it’s not that bad. The room was great, the shower room was lovely. We found the desk staff to all be friendly and polite. Great choice for breakfast. If we ever end up in Barcelona again we wouldn’t hesitate to use this hotel.

Loved this hotel! It's right in the middle of the Gothic Quarter with plenty of shops and restaurants all around the place. We felt safe - there was a guard right outside of the lobby, room was spacious, our view from the top floor was amazing and the staff was so great - lent us a travel adaptor until we could go buy a new one and held our luggage for the whole afternoon after we checked out. There are elevators and the best thing is their breakfast buffet - for 12€ pp it was well worth it - tons of selection, cappuccino and even champagne!
